New Years Resolution- to get out of my aggregator more and let people know how much I appreciate their work.

Thanks Chrissy.

Unfortunately Flickr is now blocked at school but after a bit of heartfelt negotiation they have now unblocked ONE user- me!

At least the kids can now see the photos we have been looking at for the last couple of years!

These are some great tools. I've bookmarked this blog entry in my delicious account. I always wondered where those posters came from on other blogs.

Wow Chrissy you really extended everything. Now I need to pull the teachers back and show them your post. Seeing you use a photo of Ewan McIntosh reminded me of when he was on WOW2.0. He said he used Flickr as a digital storytelling tool using the notes. You can make a "Choose your Own Adventure" story using the notes and making links to other pictures.

Great talking with you and I look forward to speaking with you more in the future!

Thank you so much for writing this post. Very useful resources to use with Flickr in the classroom. I will post the link for all of our teachers.
I am using a Flickr tag on my del.icio.us account for any sites I find that will allow mashup with Flickr.

http://del.icio.us/langwitches/flickr
One particular link I find useful is Splashr.com I have used in in several blogs to showcase a particular set or tagged photos from my Flickr account.

You have inspired me to digg through all my links and write a post on Langwitches Blog soon.

Nice compilation of flickr uses! Unfortunately, we struggle to access flickr for students, but not only will this post give me more ammunition for fighting the battle again, it gave me some ideas for the limited use we do have! Many thanks...and yes, what would we do without the twitter network! I can't remember how I functioned pre-twitter... :)
